Download I Am Cat

I Am Cat is a game that lets you become a cat. That's right, instead of playing as a pooper scooper, you become a real cat straight away to experience the daily life of a meow cat. You can run around the house, jump on tables, get into cabinets, and even jump on your owner's bed and stay there. When you want to make a mess, you can overturn the cups on the table, tear up the sofa, or chase little bugs all over the house. When you want to rest, you can find a comfortable corner, curl up into a ball and have a good sleep.

The best thing about this game is the exceptional amount of freedom. There are no mandatory quests or fixed goals, it just lets you be a cat as you wish. You can choose to be a docile house cat, pampering around the owner every day, waiting to be fed; you can also be a mischievous cat, wreaking havoc everywhere, watching the owner's frantic look of stealing joy. You can also run out into the world and explore wider places, such as yards, streets, and even stores and cafes. Along the way you'll meet all sorts of people and animals, some kids will want to pet you, some dogs might bark at you, and there are other cats waiting to interact with you.

The game's graphics are particularly warm, with soft colors that look very comfortable. Every corner of the home is finely detailed, the flower pots basking on the windowsill, the slippers littering the living room, and even the books askew on the shelves all feel like real places. And the light and shadow effects are especially great; the sun spilling in through the windows creates a warm patch of light on the floor, and the cat walking past leaves faint little paw prints, which is especially healing. The outside world is also full of details, the sound of the wind blowing the leaves, the sound of people talking in the distance, as well as the occasional bird chirping, all of which make people feel that the world is really “alive”.

The game's sound effects are also very elaborate, and each of the cat's movements is accompanied by a detailed sound, such as the difference between the sound of a footstep on a wooden floor and that of a tile, the sound of air gently flowing as it jumps, and the sound of a soft cushion of meat “snapping” when it hits the ground. Not to mention the sound of a cat snoring, which is really super healing and you can't help but smile while playing.

Although the game has no fixed tasks, there are still some hidden gameplay for you to discover. For example, you can try to find all the places in the house where you can hide, drill into cabinets, hide in cardboard boxes, and see how long it takes for the owner to find you. You can also sniff around the house for loose snacks or even steal your owner's meal. If you run outdoors, you can find even more fun things to do, such as climbing onto rooftops overlooking the entire street, or sneaking into stores to see what all the fun is inside.

Of course, there are some challenges in the game, such as the fact that some people don't really like cats, and if you go near them, you may be chased away or even put in another room. Sometimes you'll need to avoid dangers like a big dog that comes out of nowhere, or an animal control officer who comes to get you. If you're caught, you'll have to find a way to escape, using your cat's agility to jump to high places or get into crevices where only you can get in.

There are some places that require precise jumping skills, such as trying to climb up a tall bookshelf, where you have to control the angle and strength of your jumps or you might fall down a few times. You may find it a bit difficult to play at first, but after you become skillful, you will be able to jump up to all kinds of high places with ease, and you can even jump from one cabinet to another like a real cat, freely traveling around the room.

I Am Cat is a particularly relaxing and fun game, it doesn't have complicated rules and doesn't put pressure on the player, it just lets you simply enjoy being a cat. You can explore the world as much as you like, be mischievous, or find a quiet place to take a nap. This game is absolutely perfect for anyone who loves cats, and after playing for a while, you'll be completely immersed in the wonderful world of Meow Meow, and you simply won't be able to stop.
